SPOILERS Fallout 4 Achievements SPOILERS

Post » Wed Dec 02, 2015 12:16 pm

Good question. The way I'm interpreting it is that the minutemen could potentially be this up for grabs faction that the SS can influence.

The more I think about it, it'll probably be a fork in the road sort of decision. So, we'll tackle the problems as they arise. If we side with the BoS for example, we'll probably find ourselves at odds with the Institute at first, and then we'll deal with the Railroad when the institute is dismantled - or vice versa.

As an aside, I'm curious what the Community Organizer achievement entails. Does it tie in with settlement building in anyway?

I'm still trying to figure out how these factions are going to play out. Will we join all of them? Some of them? The achievements don't say anything about joining the Institute (not even Institutionalized, IIRC). I guess they might end up being the main antagonists? But then there's the BOS...it seems pretty obvious we can go against them...

I bloody well hope note. If they go that route I'm gonna need to punch something.

Liberty Prime was a horrible aspect of Fallout 3 and I wish Bethesda would forget they ever thought of it.

There is one called The institutional something the text seems to imply joining or be friends with Institute. If not my rage will be LEGENDARY. Todd promised us PLAYER FREEDOM. You could be as free as you want always you be goodie and be pro brotherhood and rest of goodies is not freedom at all." I am so worried, I didn't preorder yet, I am about to wait until firmly know if I could role play this game or not as evil. There Is no way I join Prestons loosers railroad freaks or Brother hood of rusty steel!!! WHY WHY BETHESDA I am a fan since 1994

I'm curious about that Nuclear family achievement. I wonder if you'll meet your spouse, and if so, how? The vault boy is holding the hand of what appears to be a very old man on his deathbed. Maybe the cryopods malfunction, and your spouse is released like 50 years before you, and just didn't have the know-how to open your cryopod? Leaving you to find a 90 something year old spouse on their deathbed in the vault? Or maybe your spouse didn't make it in to the vault, and were ghoulified by the nukes, and you find a like 200 year old spouse on their deathbed for whatever reason? Speculation. Speculation everywhere...

imho, judging by the picture, it's just a simple sidequest.

I wish we had more indications about how many of these sidequests will have. Do not be that absurd amount equal Skyrim, but also can not be that ridiculous amount of F3.

They weren't unlocked. Trophies being hidden are up to the discretion of the publisher, so I have no idea if they were hidden or not. But the list being released early is pretty common. It usually comes from MS first, which it did here. Somehow someone got the pictures of the trophy from the PSN. Again,I'm unsure how. I assume hacking devil magic.

Possible spoiler alert! Maybe?

So the achievements are up, and maybe I'm reading into them too much, but I think they support the "player is an android theory", despite how much I hope I'm wrong. Everyone says it won't happen, and hopefully they're right, but take a look at some of them.

"Institutionalized" implies that the player will be captured by the institute... An organization that creates and captures androids.

"Mankind redefined" is another. I'm hoping this isn't referring to the player, but I'd call it 50-50. For anyone confused by the reference, android sci-if generally pushes the philosophy concerning how mankind should be defined.

There are some other vague ones, but hopefully they're nothing that means the "android protagonist" idea is correct.

I anticipate that 90% of users on here will negate and dismiss this interpretation altogether, and I hope they're right to do so. But try to entertain the possibility for a moment. Is it really that unlikely?

I could be way off here, but this is my theory. You get "reunited" with a grown Shaun, fairly early. Shaun has been turned into an android. You get "Institutionalized" for trying to get back to him. This is the whole reason for all of Freedom and Android related trophies. You're trying to get your son equal rights....or you cast him aside and be an evil SOB. Oh BTW, your wife is dead.

If you look the pictures with Institutionalize and the other two perks. You clearly see that is the Institute faction perks. The second one show vault tecboy with two guys in a reunion and looking pretty institute style. And coincide with the other 3 factions available each one with 3 perks. The other factions including railroad are goodie ones so no way no evil or more dark faction aren't include And 3 factions alone have zero sense. If you can be a railroad you have to have a chance join their enemies. Like NCR vs Cesar legion.

Don't know. There is a 'nuclear family' achievement that in Fallout could mean anything, but the term generally refers to household consisting of a father, mother and children. It's by no means a given that the spouse is dead.

I so hope your wrong... Screw it I need to check the achievement list.

Nothing that overtly spoils something significant, or not predicted period to release.
I'm also curious as to what the 'rocket's red glare' achievement entails, I hope that's a reference to New Vegas.

The likelyhood of the PC being an android is basically zero.

Bethesda never forces you to be something besides the race you are.

What exactly are "workshop items"? (because there is a perk to "craft items" and a separate one to build "workshop items")

The Workshop is where you build things in settlements, so 'workshop items' are 'settlement pieces' or whatever you want to call them. The 'craft items' achievement is probably about crafting items you can carry around; we haven't been shown any of them yet, though.

I'm sure some certain people are having fits over being able to join the Brotherhood again. I know you're out there.

The 'Reunions' acheivement may hint at finding your family, but that's an easy assumption to make.
