That's entirely possible. I'm in the UK so I only preorder from a retailer I trust. I doubt I'll get my copy early, but if I didn't get it on release at the very latest, someone is getting a very angry phone call. Hasn't happened to me so far with the current online retailer I use though.

I hear Canada has been known to have problems distributing stock before though. Depends on where you live and what the weather's like I guess.

i live in ontario and the weather isnt that bad. idk i hope its ok though. and the guy that told you theres nothing about companions is wrong. one companion is returning (not saying what) and we can now use codsworth as a companion. so there are stuff about companions and anythings possible so dont keep your hopes too low!

They know what they need to do. Have some perspective. It's a really big game that gives you a lot of freedom and player choice. It's amazing how many people I see complaining about the most obscure bugs. Stuff I've never seen in all the time I've spent playing the game.

I have plenty of perspective and experience, thanks. When I first joined this Forum, there were plenty of people who "had experienced no problems with the game". It then came to light that they either blasted through the main questline and "beat the game" in less than 20 hours, or they'd barely made it to Nipton.

I'd played for at least 80 hours, and most, if not all, people like me, who put the time in, encountered no end of game breaking glitches. I don't need lecturing, son. I've been through this song and dance before and people have a right to complain.

Without spoiling much, I think you'll be pleased with Fallout 4.

Buggy as their games are, has Bethesda ever had a notoriously terrible launch like a few of the AAA games in 2014? Or that new Batman game? I wasn't around for Bethesda's launches before Skyrim, but all I know for sure is that Daggerfall straight up couldn't be completed until a patch came out. Don't know of any notably bad press for Morrowind, Oblivion, or Fallout 3 though, but I'm not sure I would know.

I think it's fair to say, a lot of people are looking forward to FO4, and of the Bethesda RPGs, New Vegas was pretty shaky until they got a good couple of patches in (I know it was developed by Obsidian).

Also, from the reveal trailer alone, that damn curtain model and texture is still there along with the same "broken floor tiles" texture. I'm hoping we don't still have rain piercing through solid buildings/roofs/overhangs. I mean, I welcomed the rain in Honest Hearts, I love dynamic weather systems like Just Cause 2 did. They really add a lot of atmosphere to the game.

Would be awesome if Mirelurks became more aggressive and gained health regen in the rain too. How weather might actually affect gameplay and combat...
