SPOILER
Besides, it's been confirmed that fusion cores are easy to find. Which still managed to upset you needy "fans" I used fan in quotes because most of you are so entitled and have so many complaints I doubt most of you are fans at all.
Given your complete misunderstanding the "importance" of GURPS in Fallout 1, and your adamant denial that all the things from the newer games, the devs who made the older games said were ok, are in fact ok, I am going to have to disagree. Though, the flaws in your arguments have been pointed out so many times now, by so many people, that bringing it up again is pointless, especially given that you've never actually cared what anyone else had to say on any subject.
I am however left wondering why you bother to come here, given how unaligned from yours the common opinion is here. NMA or RPGCodex are far closer to your line of thought.
And where exactly are you getting this from? The PC is whoever the player wants him/her to be. That's the whole point of roleplaying. That is why we have the ability to choose defined stats for our characters when we crate them. One of the best parts is that no one needs to be a jack of all trades to survive as an adventurer. Besides, if you look at the previous games, the PC accomplished plenty of goals that would require people with specialized talents or knowledge to perform.
I am going to tell you right now, don't even bother. You will just get caught in the same loop of circular logic hes been pushing forever.
I could have sworn he was away from these forums for good a few months ago. Mostly because he disrupted every topic with this kind of stuff. It was very refreshing to not have someone say that their subjective opinion is a "universal truth".
Play the games; (that's no slight or snap... seriously if you play Fallout, or Fallout 2, you will see it.
Baseless (slanderous?) accusation. (...and untrue.)
Because it is the official Fallout series forum.
And when have I ever said that Jaramr? I have never posited my opinion as a truth; and have always suggested the source material, for others to see and decide for themselves.
Since it seems needed, I mentioned how the powercells were described; if you don't believe me, then here is the source material:

People like him come in cycles, just wait it out, and he'll vanish again for a few more months.
You and me both, then. (But I don't believe it.)
*And I think we should drop it; we know better.
I said my point about the fusion cores.
Why wait, use the block function. Works wonders.
I don't believe in blocking people on forums.
Eheh, this place never changes. If it's not like junior woodchucks conversing about pinecones around a bonfire, it's a "go away" or "block him" time.
With the way the CoD crowd have reacted to power armor actually being powered, i'd be amazed if it still requires upkeep by the next Fallout game.
It's a shame, but it's not surprising. Afterall, that's why as part of the dumbing down process they removed weapon maintenance.
i must be one of the few that love the new PA system.
I love it aswell just not for the same reasons as everyone else...
I think that they finally got the PA suits about as close to behaving as how it appeared in Fallout cutscenes as possible. While I don't find it plausible that the PA suit would run down, I'm not opposed to the mechanics of limiting its use.
*But personally, I would rather they had used the environment to restrict PA use... Like having Raiders drop down a manhole to escape the armored PC ~who shouldn't be able to follow them in the suit; or to climb upwards across rickety charred stairs in an old building... stairs that should collapse under the weight of the armor.
Wait , is it confirmed or not that you can fast travel while in PA?
I never played CoD and I prefer the old PA.
