Report by lead Spore-Grower Aryne Hleran, Wizard of the Great House Telvanni
Report for Master Drath of the Great House Telvanni
Date of report first of Mid-year 4E 200

As requested I write this report for my former patron and teacher Master Drath, lord of Gah Sadrith the new chief of the spore-grower and farmer's association, this document will talk about the various types of towers the spore-growers build and the variety of spore the spore-farmer's tend and grow.

Emperor Tower.

The Emperor Tower, not to be confused with Emperor Parasol tower made by Master Neloth of Sadrith Mora and Tel Mithryn, the only Emperor Tower ever grown is Tel Telvanni, the tower of Port Telvannis, capital of Telvannis and home of the Archmagister of House Telvanni, the Emperor Tower was built back during the founding of House Telvanni and ever since dominates the main island of the Telvanni Isles. Ever since the Red Year and Argonian invasion Port Telvannis has seen many refugees due to how little it was hit and how fast the tower rebuilds itself.

The Emperor Tower's growth is limitless and sometimes can be unstable, for this reason it is heavily maintained by a order of spore-growers known as "The caretakers of Tel Telvanni" this growth rate however has proven useful for when population gets out of hand.

Regeneration and growth: every type of spore has it's own unique regeneration and growth rate, the Emperor Tower's regeneration is the quickest of the towers due to it's importance, this rate was not natural though it was a modification made by the Caretakers.

Mora Tower

The Mora Tower or "Forest Tower" is a rather important one, this type was made in order to build lesser Telvanni cities, most notably Sadrith Mora and Gah Sadrith though not to be confused with Llothis or Tel Mothriva. The Mora Tower was made in order to fortify important locations and areas of interest, the Mora spore is a rather easier spore to grow and maintain then the Emperor Spore but still rather difficult compared to lesser towers.

Regeneration and growth: the regeneration process is rather quick but not at the same rate of an Emperor Tower, it's growth though is easier to maintain. A Mora spore can go decades with maintenance depending on it's size, for instance Gah Sadrith requires more work then Sadrith Mora required due it Gah Sadrith completely encompassing the island but Sadrith Mora nearly went a century with no treatment to stop unwanted growth.

Lillypad Tower

A rather new type of tower that was used to create Tel Mora, Llothis and Tel Quada. The Lilly-pad Tower gains it's name from how it requires a large source of water to grow and the lilly-pad-like platforms that connect to the mushroom houses, but the tower itself shouldn't be grown inside the water for it's growth will than become unstable it's best to grow this tower on a boulder sticking out of the water or on the nearby shore, though it won't be a problem if part of the mushroom touch the water as long as the main tower doesn't.

Regeneration and growth: As stated before if the main tower is out of the water it should be easy to maintain but thanks to the large amounts of water the regeneration rate is incredibly fast but if the tower loses it's source of water it will quickly wither and die.

Parasite Tower

The Parasite Tower requires to have buildings of other materials around for instance like clay or stone, most notably would be Tel Vos, Ranyon-Ruhn, and Tel Mothrivra. These tower don't necessarily take away from the buildings or weaken the foundations of the buildings but it won't grow without the added support, the reason for this is because the roots of the tower are too weak to actually stay stable for long so the roots need the extra support from the buildings.

Regeneration and growth: The growth and regeneration rates are dreadfully slow and they are the only towers that actually need resources, for the life of me I have no clue why anyone would choose these towers but it's not my place to question a Master's preferences

Bal Tower

A Bal Tower or "Stone Tower" is not actually made of stone but require to be built attached to a cliff, notable example is Marog. This tower is the least popular due to how hard it is to grow and maintain, the only one known is Marog near the dwemer ruin of Kemel-Ze and at one point was the major center of the Dwemer artifact trade before the place was completely looted though there is the rare reports of a find or two.

Regeneration and growth: They are fairly easy to regrow and require no real maintenance but if a rock-slide happened it would be near impossible to rebuild, maintenance of said tower only really take place every two centuries depending on if there is a rock-slide of not
