I was wondering why we never saw any sports in the Elder Scrolls games or the lore, besides Hunting. Do you think there will be any new sports introduced in Skyrim. Even Harry Poter had a one.

Game hunt, joust, hand to hand fights and archery would be great, the Nords seem like the right people for competition and good times :tops:

I don't think so. But hell, if it was easy to implement, was implemented well, and didn't waste more than a week of the Devs' time making the game, then I'd love to see football in the game!
Of course, I doubt it would fit the criteria. Maybe we could combine the Creation Engine with FIFA's engine?

Because hitting someone in the face with an axe is the funnest sport of all.

Sure something like Trollball from Glorantha would be great (Trollball was sort of like Rugby but with giants as referees, trolls playing, and their stunted relatives trollkin as the ball. Also a lot of violence). Imagine 2 teams of orcs and/or Nords facing off. Finally a use for male Bosmer!

Because sports games are an entirely different genre, so if sports (I assume you mean ball sports and that sorta thing) are implemented in Skyrim they would either svck, or be the bare basics.

But a Fight Club would be EPIC

Was it the film The Vikings, that had a tavern barmaid strapped to a revolving board, while the drunken warriors threw their axes at it? Missing her of course. Perhaps Skyrim will have something similar. :biggrin:
