To tell you the truth it was mentioned really early.

I though I was a uniqe and beautiful snowflake that was one of few who knew but it's acctually well known.

Yep. I noticed this as well.

As for the intro, I didn't notice any of these things.

The only thing I noticed was, as I was leaving the sewers, it clearly showed daylight, but when I exited, it was night.

This isn't a spoiler, because I'm guessing everyone's play is different. I mean, who goes around scurrying in an underground maze looking for hidden chests?
