I've been wanting to try out Walking Dead, but haven't had the money. I'm skeptical it'll be any good (skeptical enough to not quite want to spend money on it), but the reviews seem to be positive.

Anyone who has downloaded DB: Does this game "interfere" like DG did? I don't want to install something that's going to kill all my NPCs.

No it doesn't, your NPC's will be fine.

Just one instance I'm aware of. A duo of cultists will be searching for you(after completing horn of Jergen Wind-caller) to initiate the Dragonborn dlc main questline. They will be focused on attacking you, there is always a chance other npcs may get involved. Nothing too serious though.

That's true, but that only happens if you encounter them inside of a city.

You can encounter them outside cities, in the wilds?

Random vampire attacks are the WORST. Absolutely horrible . I thought nothing could be more annoying that random dragon attacks, until I learned to just avoid starting the main quest. Then I started having all sorts of fun again.

But vampires...there's no way to avoid them, other than playing through DG with every single character. Tiresome, at best. Meanwhile, I watch them gradually kill off one NPC after another, sometimes when I'm not there to even try to stop it. Ugh .

Yeah yeah yeah, 'uninstall DG, problem solved'. No. Problem not solved, for many reasons I shouldn't even have to point out.

Yep. I encountered mine outside of Whiterun near that lone farm on the far side of the city walls.
