SSD OS + HD data drive won't play game

Post » Sat Mar 01, 2014 7:37 pm

I was told by support after like 6 downloads the beta won't run on this type of setup where my OS is on the SSD and I use the HD for all games , programs, etc.. I installed it instead on an old laptop and it worked fine. If the dual drive issue isn't fixed by launch I will not get the game although I liked what I saw on my old laptop. I imagine the graphics and fps would be 100 times better on my gaming rig.

That's [censored]. I have my OS on my SSD and play everything on my HD, except for a select few games.

That's weird, I have that kind of setup with my OS on an SSD and the game installed on a regular harddrive and I can play the game.

My game randomly disconnects me and says "An unknown error has occurred" every so often, making it essentially unplayable, is that related to this problem?

Same for me, OS on smaller SSD and all games etc on external HDD... fecking launcher gets stuck at "Loading defaults..." when I use it from external HDD, but when I let the program decide it wants to install on my SSD C\.. by default which doesn't have the space..

Seriously what a fecking bullsh*t, Someone gave his extra key to me for what... its a waste havent even been able to download anything, and from the forums I dont get the idea there's any support.

Never ever had this kinda issue with any mmo before in 10 years.. come on.

Good way to start.

I have my OS on one SSD and ESO on another SSD, it works fine, (they're not even the same brand). I'm not sure why it would matter if the game was on a HDD.

Actually, I just looked at my ESO install folder, and it's only 49mb, what the heck is up with that? Where is the game actually installed?
