SSE, will NEW (64bit) mods work with Old Skyrim?

Post » Wed Sep 28, 2016 6:18 pm

Hey all!

I know it's been said that to get current mods working with SSE, you'd just have to run the .esp through the new Creation Kit. But what about the reverse? Not everyone is going to want to play on the 64 bit version. Some people won't have beefy enough PCs. But if a fantastic mod is made for SSE, will people on the 32 bit Skyrim be able to convert them somehow?

Sorry if this has already been discussed. I searched and didn't find anything relevant.

I doubt that SSE mods will work for 32-bit Skyrim.

For all we know, it could just be a version increase in the module header where SSE won't accept any below it but will work fine with Skyrim x32.
