THEE STAFF OF CHAOS;

Is what most of us fan know as the main plot device in Arena. And here is my point, at the end of arena the staff is taken to the white gold tower...So with Skyrim coming out don't you think they should have it be a rewarded to your character for doing some near impossible thing. Or maybe even a down-loadable content for like 800mp like the weapon packs in Mass Effect 22. Whatever happens i would just like to see Bethesda bring it back because they recycle alott of the mythology so it would be kind of ,lack of a better term, 'strange'. Like i can understand if they saw no need to integrate it into the Skyrims story but that shouldnt stop them from making it a simple dlc.

Let's speculate about a single staff, why not.

In which case if you wanted it, your Oblivion character should have grabbed it from White Gold Tower which isn't in Skyrim.

Seeing as Titus Mede who was a colovian warlord was crowned the new emperor by conquest he might of given the staff to an other Colovain warload in skyrim to try and take over more parts to grow there army, but when face with Dovahkiin the warlord fail leaving the staff to be taken by Dovahkiin and be used for good or evil.

if Bethesda does DLC they'll do interesting DLC, not weapon packs and horse armor.

Calling the Staff of Chaos a "magic stick" is like calling a nuclear weapon a BB gun.

We're, presumably, resurrecting the Numidium (again) so having the Staff of Chaos along with it would be overkill. Hell, giving the player free usage of the Staff of Chaos at all is very overpowering.

If anything, I'd like closure, a quest or a book that mentions the permanent destruction of the Staff so that it can't be used again.

Still just a very powerful magic stick....

A nuclear weapon is just a very powerful explosive.

Didn't Ria Silmane explicitly state that the Staff of Chaos would be destroyed once you released the Emperor? It certainly is never seen again in the ending of the game.

We should also throw away swords because my mage character won't use it (and yes, there are a lot of players who use sticks)
Seriously, your argument is stupid. By that logic there should be just one weapon type and just one weapon in the game because there is no reason to be more then one.

with that said, I thought the Staff of Chaos got destroyed?

Jagar Tharn broke the staff into pieces and in Arena you run around Tamriel collecting the pieces so that you can go into Oblivion and save the emperor. In the end of arena the staff is hidden away in White Gold tower.

Arena was awesome I would love to see this return.

When is that stated? It's not that I'm doubting you, so much as...well...I started the Staff of Chaos article on the UESP and the White Gold Tower remark was added offhandedly without a citation. Does one of the books mention it? Let me know, because I'd love to make an Oblivion quest mod concerning these events.
