I was thinking about Wards and how they could be improved, and it came to me: Ward in Staff form! I've never come across one in Skyrim, and as far as I know they don't exist, but why not? Wards are the perfect type of spell to be enchanted into a staff!

I did a search for a ward staff mod on Google, but nothing came up (other than various inquiries with no responses), so I figured I would try my hand at making on in the CK. If I can get it right I'll upload it to the Nexus. It should be doable (easily enough, I would hope) since items like Spellbreaker exist.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Hmmm.... I can seem to get the staff "working" properly, but the animation for it is using the normal ward casting animation (with the caster's hand). The enchantment is set as a staff enchantment. I copied the Staff of Healing Hands as far as the other visuals go. I looked around and didn't see anything special about the effect on the healing hands staff that made it use the staff animation instead of the "hand" animation.

Any ideas how I can correct this? Hopefully within the CK only?
