Stalker in the Starlight

Dear Abby (or whoever is reading this),

I have built a fairly large settlement in the Starlight Theatre area, and I've been setting it up as my main base of operations. More to the point of this missive though, I have a stalker and he's creeping me out.. for more than just one reason.

To begin with, I had intended to use this particular NPC as a Provisioner, so I gave him decent weapons and armor. I'm afraid he's a little too grateful, you see. He follows my character everywhere she goes (yes, she's a she, the stalker is a he, and so am I just for clarification). A few days ago game time, I was building a restaurant four stories up, and as soon as I placed the first table and chairs, there he was drinking coffee. I spoke to him, but all I got was "I just want to trade" with no response options.

I went down and talked to Vault-Tec, and as I turned to leave, there was my stalker almost on the bottom steps of one ladder. I went up the other ladder, and when I looked back, he was right behind me.

I took a little trip to Sanctuary, and returned late that night. The Stalker was waiting for me just inside the entrance.

I hurried up the stairs, nearly falling to my death in the dim light (It's not complete, and open spaces are actually deadly) and crawled into my own bed in the "Penthouse". In the morning when I woke up, my stalker was in bed with me...

I left the Starlight, completed a quest in Bunker Hill, and returned the next day. Happily no sign of my stalker, so I went up to my bedroom, and... there he was on my veranda, seated in my favorite chair, drinking coffee like he owned the place... What the hell? I considered throwing him off the veranda (its at the top corner of the Starlight screen) but that's easier said than done in this game.

I'm taking it that my character doesn't object unduly, I mean she hasn't shot him yet, nor has she said anything to me about the situation, so maybe she's just having a fling or something.

Now, all of that is NOT why I'm creeped out by this guy, nor is any of that why I haven't sent this guy off to Somerville as a provisioner. The fact is that I am both intrigued and alarmed by his appearance. You see, he looks just exactly like Art, the synth. Did you ever notice that he (Art, the Synth) also looks nearly exactly like Lance Henriksen who played the part of the android Bishop in "Aliens"?

So... Now you know why I'm creeped out. No other NPC has ever acted like this unless they were a companion. Even when Deacon was my companion, crazy as he is, he never crawled in bed with my character either...

BTW, did you ever notice that Deacon looks, behaves, and sounds very much like Bruce Willis?

Anyway, before I send this Alien android/synth wannabe off to the glowing sea, I thought I'd see if there is some quest line or plot that would explain any of this strangeness. Any of that sound familiar?

:) He is in love may be. Really weird..I understand your feelings. I never saw settlers who look like Art in any of my 27 settlements. I`m sure I got all kinds of them. May be it`s some unique settler, is he named just a settler?

You can try to assign him to something else, crops, shops, etc. May be he thinks that he is your companion.

Agree about Deacon. I felt he reminds me somebody, now I know whom.

Your story is so funny, you should write some more, I want to know how it all will end up.
