Stamina damage doesn't work?

Post » Mon Nov 24, 2014 10:40 pm

I originally posted this in the middle of a different thread, but was really wondering about this one question. I had a dagger of 46 stamina damage and hit a bandit chief about ten times with it, yet he was still able to do power attacks. It should have totally drained his stamina since bandit chiefs have around 250 stamina. Anyone know what the deal is?

How fast were you hitting him?

Skyrim has the annoying habit of only needing 1 stamina point to do a power attack.

You can combine that dagger with a poison of damage stamina regen. It doesn't matter what your alchemy level is, the poison is always 100% reduction in stamina regen. Only the duration scales with alchemy skill.

IMO, the Damage Stamina & Magicka enchantments are nearly useless. Only good one is Health, but the Absorb version of all three are all good.

I was hoping you could get NPC's stamina into the negative numbers, just like the PC can. But I guess that isn't the case.

Yes, I am going to do that from now on. Too bad this will never work on vampires or draugr, though.
