I have a small monitor and the game only supports wide screen. Whats the deal, i can play it but the game is so small i can barely make out what im doing.

Yeah, just came to here say ran into same issue. I would love official 5:4 resolution (1280x1024) support Bethesda. It's my preferred screen ratio.

I agree. Having to play the game in windowed mode to be able to pick locks makes the screen bleed. This is my computer specs.

Ibuypower FR960X-1 gaming PC with Intel Core i7-5960X 8-core processor, 32GB DDR3 memory, 2tb hard drive + 240 GB SSD Drive, Blu-ray combo drive, Nvidia GTX 980 Graphics card, Windows 7.

Yes. Please just have the UI move and scale to the resolution. I play in 4:3 and just found lock picking doesn't show on the screen.

That's the end of being able to play the game for me now.

And before anyone asks, i have a very expensive photography based monitor, which is 4:3 ratio. I don't want a widescreen.

I've never known a game as badly set up with its UI scaling and choice of resolutions!

Definetly .Played every single Fallout in 1280x1024 .Why this one should be any different .Also burned 2 widescreen monitors .I dunno how .Sill it looks nice on 22 inch monitor(5:4) .More to the point .Add UI,HUD screen resolution options ,ecc ,ecc for 4:3 and 5:4 .Cant play the game properly .The UI and HUD is streched and when wearing power armor ...half of it is missing.

The issues were a little harder to spot at 16:9, but they're definitely still there. First noticed it when looking at the pip boy. Screen zoomed in way too much.

Why are you using a monitor with a 1280x1024 resolution with that computer? What a waste of hardware...

My monitor is a sharp tv and I can't see the small print from my couch. I also tried all resolutions and the lock picking screen still didn't show the lock.

There is a fix on Fallout 4 nexus .Just type in search 1280x1024 Resoultion Fixes and there is some kind of tutorial and data files .It worked for me .But there is still the issue of the uncapped FPS .
