I just recently installed Star Trek New Worlds on laptop that has vista, and guess what? It works! Pax said that it was released for windows 95/98, but it works on vista. So if your having trouble loading Star Trek New Worlds on xp or any other operating system, then try vista!

Bad news, star trek new worlds won't stay open more than a few minutes into the game.

Have you yet tried the compatibility tab under properties of the link? Set it to Windows 95.

ah, instead, I've changed it to windows 200 and I haven't had a problem since. So, vista works with windows 2000 compatbillity
