Star Trek: Starfleet Command

This was one of my favorite Star Trek games ever (together with Birth of the Federation), designed partly by the very Chris Taylor, who's now back at gamesas. Unfortunately, none of the two sequels was on par with the original, not to mention Bethesda's Star Trek: Legacy.

Too bad gamesas doesn't have the Star Trek license anymore, I would like to see a SFC sequel done right. Can IPLY at least resell its classic Star Trek games at GOG or something like that, or is it impossible like with the D&D titles? I don't know for sure, but gamesas doesn't have the Star Trek license or the ADB license (for the Star Fleet Battles part of SFC) anymore. I'm pretty sure that someone at Paramount would be upset if those games were being sold again.

You could always make a spiritual successor set e.g. in the Freespace universe but with similar game mechanics to SFC and call it Freespace: Space Fleet Command. or something like that :). Probably not very likely to happen, but I'd like to see such a game.

If they won't I will do it ;p
They don't do games like that anymore...Good, challenging games - the games you had to read manual first (RTFM) - WITH understanding;p , and really know all the rules.

Anybody played Hydran destroyer?
These guys roxxx - especially when you overload your hellborn cannons - and ussually you could do it even @ 30...
