[Relz][Beta][Wipz] GH Star Wars Armor

Post » Fri Mar 11, 2011 3:02 am

So I'm kinda, maybe, sort of, possibly ready to make a release of a version of my star wars assets. :shifty:

It's in beta :)
:Deleted:

I have yet to fully test everything I've done, a few bits of killing people wearing this stuff and I think I have all the major bugs worked out, but I probably over looked something, probably something with a female asset, as I haven't tested the female a whole lot. There is a lot of assets in there. About 3-4 months worth of work.

If anyone can go bash the stuff in this plugin, take screenshots on their uber PCs, and report anything I have forgotten/broke/issue

I just realized there is a axe in the plugin, that wasn't supposed to be in there, and I haven't tested....So watch out for that- you probably just hold it wrong. < and it doesn't have an custom icon.

the backpack has no custom icon either. do that tomorrow.

um yeah, if you have any suggestions for stats or any changes like that, I am open to them. tbh I just whacked any old thing in the values.

I haven't taken any screenshots in months really, since then I fixed many issues on the art side- but I have some crappy shots I took while I was deving.

They look phenominal. But I have one question, why is it in several pictures of the DH-17 blaster you are in a Blockade Runner hallway but you can still see a mountain side in the scope of the blaster?

When you finally release the models I'll definitely be DLing them, I love Star Wars.

because fallout doesn't have dynamic environment maps. There is no way to extract one from a particular cell, and there is no way to dynamically have it switch if the location of the object changes. they are static. and they display reletive to object space, so that mountain is actually rotated 90 on the side as it is. don't worry, like i said i have made a lot of changes to the art side of things.

I meant no disrespect. I just never really noticed it in game because well..the wasteland is a desert and mountains in the scope of my rifle or pistol aren't noticeable since its all I see. But pitted against the nice white of a Rebel Blockade Runner and one is like, "Wait, what?"

I know. :).
I was more ranting at the engine itself for not letting do what I'd like - we have no gambryo sdk, and fallout doesn't have the tech for this one.
In cryengine I could enable world reflections in a material and set reflection detail levels. not to mention Unreal shaders.

can't even export particles.

I'm just bitter
