I just found this on Star Wars News Net. It's a new fan film about Darth Maul's apprentice trials. For a low-budget fan-made film I think it's not bad. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Djo_91jN3Pk

Looking ahead I kind of want Rouge One to be good, yet I also want it to preform beneath Disney's financial expectations so that the Star Wars spin off movies won't end up getting made. This would prevent The Star Wars Movie franchise from ending up watered down and over milked.

I'm mixed. I want it to be good and I am interested in what other stories can be told on the big screen. At the same time though I don't want the franchise milked beyond being a toy selling machine.

Disney XD is the official channel for the show so you have to be subscribed to that channel with your TV provider. You can probably find it elsewhere too though but I'm pretty sure I'm not allowed to discuss that. Google is your friend btw.

You asked this question in the last Star Wars thread and Charon711 answered you.

"Disney XD is the official place to watch it. It's not on Netflix so you have to have a cable subscription to that channel to technically watch it. There are other outlets though. Be sure to catch the movies, they are part of the series. The first one actually is like the first episode."

A video of HelloGreedo talking about the similarities between TFA and ANH. I agree with him. There are similarities between the two, but what makes TFA similar to ANH are not it's main plot points like they were to ANH. They were surface things riding on the bigger picture of the film. People will complain regardless too. Rae could have lived on an ice plannet and people would have complained it was too much like Hoth or a forest planet and it being Endore.

People just need to stop looking for mole hills to make mountains out of and enjoy the movie for what it is. A fun, fast paced scifi/fantasy epic that is the introductory to a new chapter in a large story.

The franchise has been already over milked since the early 80's maybe even since the late 70's. Movies not so much but the toys and such have been way over milked.

I don't care about any over milking when it comes to toys and junk.

The important thing is to preserve an aura of majesty around the Movies, also keeping the books, comics, and video games respectable would be nice too.

I saw his review on episode III and don't find him funny. I like dark humor, but he isn't funny. I saw the vid you linked and he still isn't funny. I don't see the appeal in his vids.

I was just about to post it! I cant wait to see it.

I have all three of the reviews posted in the OP. Humor is different for everyone, his works for some and not for others. I find him funny but respect why others wouldnt. The point of his videos are to critique more than to humor you. That's where their real value is.

It's a dynamic cross between graveyard and toilet humour, whilst at the same time criticising movies, an act that would seem nerdy if it wasn't for the humour. The idea of a gross, simple minded serial killer also being a Star Wars geek is a joke in itself!

Exactly! It's just several dynamics that you wouldnt think would go together but do with his character.

I love it that he said he hasn't seen the movie yet and already he hates it. My sentiments exactly! That whole clip's sentiments are dead on about people putting on rose tinted glasses regarding the PT, and saying that Lucas is really a genius. I knew it'd happen too! No, the PT is still a mass of badly written CGI swill. It's still as bad as it seemed 10+ years ago. TFA might be bad, but it's only because it's a retread of ANH. The PT, on the other hand, is just BAD!

Oh, and his Palpatine impression is 100% spot on!
