Star Wars Discussion: Which of the novels are worth reading?

Post » Sun Jan 05, 2014 12:10 pm

Have any of you read those Star Wars novels, and if so, which of them did you line? Seems like there is hundreds...

I hated the prequel trilogy, and Empire Strikes Back was the only original one from the old days that I enjoyed. A kid in the pediatric wing got me interested in the Clone Wars animated series, which I watch while I study.

I read that old Thrawn trilogy and enjoyed it. Also got the Dawn of the Jedi book in the mail to read.

wow, its been several years, but I read the X-Wing series back in.. 2003 maybe? it was pretty good (its about them trying to rebuild Rogue Squadron after the events of the movies when the New Republic was formed)..

I enjoyed it.. then again, I was quite a bit younger at the time..
Still, its worth a try

Anything by Timothy Zahn is a masterpiece. Bounty Hunter Wars is good too.
