I don't know how many are aware, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to see some of your opinions...

So, some indie development team with volunteers is remaking Knights of the Old Republic in Unreal Engine 3. Since it's not official it will be completely free for anyone who owns the base game.

KotOR is one of my favorite games and a remake/reboot would be awesome, but I think it's a little early to get excited about this just yet. Even though, for all intents and purposes, this should just be considered a mod, I have a feeling they will get a C&D letter at some point.

I hope they don't get shut down. If they begin to accept donations in the future I may help out. KotOR is the only Bioware game I've ever been able to finish. I loved that game.
