SC2 is really pissing me off....I rarely have a good game and 9/10 times either a terran rushed with damn reapers or a zerg zling rushes. BULL

Felt bad for the other player, but I rushed him with void rays. All he had were some zerglings and that's it. So I destroyed him.

I've found http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iylEHp-D1Kk to be both effective and hilarious as toss. Seems like less people know to counter it than reaper harrassment.

Haven't figured out anything to do as zerg, yet.

I know how you feel. I feel like its a rally race or something. You need to keep practising and keep shaving off minutes from your build process. I recieved 2 beta keys from Blizzard last night, so I gave my brother one and hes building dark templars 8 minutes into the game while im building them 5. Dark Templars are basically considered tier 3 units.

So keep practicing. If you don't think its worth your time, then you could do what i do, and just wait for the full game to be released so you can start playing the campaign and money maps/UMS games.



Even though you were in his shoes at one point, nobody showed you any mercy. I'm sure if the guy had the chance he wouldn't feel bad at all for destroying you with a massive zergling rush. Yep, Void rays can pretty much gg anything in large numbers. Stupid Marauder rushes are useless!

Are dark templars that effective? I haven't used them yet.

They're interesting to use against fellow protoss. Not as useless as archons but at the same time, they're not worth the tech.
What makes them effective is their active cloaks. The usual starcraft game in the silver league doesn't involve any photon cannons...so players have to wait till teir 2 to build some...and some may never build any! I rarely do.

The most devastating ground unit i've seen are immortals. My god...they just level terrans because of their bonus to mechanic units + structures. Colossus are a prime choice against zerg, but thats about it. They're great for harassing mineral gathering zones too.

God, I'm in the matches where it will place me in a certain league and I'm playing against teams who are in the platinum league.

I get owned everytime...

I'm playing with my brother in team doubles ( I feel like im playing tennis) and hes started out, so i've gone from Gold league 2v2 all the way to bronze.
He keeps trying different things, and never sticks to one thing. He also changes races on the fly, so he never has time to get comfortable with one

I pre-ordered the game on friday, and I asked the guy at gamestop if he had any insider info on when its coming, and he said no later than June10th. The reason he said was because Blizzard has to ship a certain amount of these limited edition sets to each store, and they have to have a digital order form or some nonsense filled out before hand.

If hes right, they should be officially announcing this any time now.

Oh, yeah. He also offered me a beta key. But ignorantly said I already had 3 that Blizzard sent me. I guess I could go get it. But who would I give it to!?

I don't think you understand how badly I svck. My svckage is so extreme it temporarily causes Battle.net to implode.

I like to turtle inside my base for half an hour, research everything, then go kill my enemy. Can't do that on regular StarCraft maps, I need the ones with unlimited crystal and gas in the starting area.
