1. DESCRIPTION
===============
First of all, this is a modder's resource only. The included .esp only adds the staff and it's stats to the CS for ease of inclusion in other mods. It adds nothing to the game itself.
This is Starfire. A magical staff with a permanent flame gem on top. It deals fire damage as well as acting as a light source.
There are two versions of the staff included. kb_starfire.nif is the standard version. kb_starfire2.nif is identical except that the star inside the gem is animated and turns slowly within the gem.

2. Requirements
===============
Using the esp to add the staff requires the tribunal and bloodmoon expansions due to scripting. If the model is used independently, the expansions are not required. However you'll lose the light source ability, as it is a scripted effect. The included esp uses an edited version of the vanilla script for Trueflame to make it act as a light source.

3. INSTALLING THE PLUGIN
========================
Pretty standard stuff. Meshes go in Meshes\kb, textures go in Textures\kb, the icon goes in, you guessed it, Icons\kb.
Note that if you'd like to change things around, you can put the mesh anywhere in Meshes, but the textures will need to be in Textures\kb unless you edit the nif to point to a different directory. Also note that if you use a utility such as TESRespec to change the texture pointers, you will get errors about not being able to find the vanilla textures that are used for the particle effects unless you have unpacked the MW BSA to your install.

4. PLAYING THE PLUGIN

The included .esp is not intended to be played. It is intended to be merged into your own mods to make adding the staff a lot easier.
Note that due to scripting requirements, the esp is dependent on tribunal and bloodmoon. They don't have to be loaded.
