Staring at a Fallout 4 pre order on Amazon..

Post » Wed Dec 02, 2015 6:41 pm

Hey all new to the forums, I'm not a huge gamer. But there are a few games that get me playing, GTA, NHL, Elder Scrolls, and Fallout. Well Fallout NV was a disappointment. But anyways I am on Amazon right now about to click place your order on a pre order of Fallout 4 for PS4, I am curious I live in a small town Northern Ontario Canada, it says it'll arrive the day of release Nov. 10th. Have any of you had trouble ordering pre orders off of Amazon or have they always been right on?

Alright thanks Terash. I might as well make the order. And ya I thought NV was a dissapointment too many glitches and all. Also the story felt rushed too.

To be fair, its a tad like comparing apples and oranges. Different company, far more development time.

and it's not even a friggin' remote island where i'm living :-(

edit: AND THE WORST IS, THEY CAN'T EVEN SEND YOU A [censored]*ING EMAIL WITH THE UNLOCK CODE SO YOU COULD JUST DOWNLOAD :-)

edit2: i'm impressed, i didn't even write the f-word, the forum actually censors "f * * * i n g" (whith no spaces) :-o

I pre-ordered Dragon Age: Inquisition and Assassin's Creed: Unity on Amazon, and received both on release day.

Everything I've ordered from Amazon that said release date delivery... came on release day. But unless you NEED the physical copy, get it digitally. Much cheaper. You can get it for $40 now.

Thanks everyone, like I said I'm not a huge gamer, and all the week of Fallout 4's release date I'll be working. I wont have time to pick up and my PS4 is older i'd rather have the physical copy.

Me too, I'll bring the Scotch :foodndrink:

Edit:

I'm sorry to hear about your PS4, it sounds like it might be a problem with the laser in your blu-ray drive (which could be somewhat expensive to repair).

But I can attest to Amazon delivering Pre-Order items on release.

Mine used to do the same thing. Try rebuilding the data base. With the system off press and HOLD the power button....you will hear one beep then you will hear two beeps....after you hear the two beeps let go of the power button.Tthis will take you into safe mode. Choose the option "REBUILD DATA BASE". This will reorganize your files and help with your apps freezing up. It will not delete any of your saved games or downloads. Plus you can turn the ejector screw if your disks are ejecting by themselves also. here's a link on how to do this.: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2JanJCxIzY

It's a cutesy Vault Boy sad face emoticon, not the head of his beloved pet on a spike.

huahuuaa

In fairness, NV is my favorite game of last gen, but I kind of hated it at first. Who played him in 360 know it was virtually unplayable due to bugs. And if I′m not mistaken, the situation on the PS3 was even more dire.
