So today I finally purchased Skyrim LE for ps3. After turning on my PlayStation I swiped over to the game icon and down to downloadable content and downloaded the three dlc's and began to run the game. Everything appeared fine up to the point of the startup screen that shows the dragon symbol on the left and the usual new game, load game, etc options on the right. However once I get to this screen the options for a new game/load game do not appear at all. The disc is in perfect condition as I literally took it from the box and put it into the console, the ps3 works fine because I've tried and successfully ran other discs on it trying to see if the ps3 itself was acting up.

Can anyone tell me what is wrong or what I'm doing wrong?

Did you try restarting the PS3 ?
Sometimes after installing DLC you need to restart the system for for it to recognize the new data.
That might be the problem here.
