This is the second time this has happened, started a female(I mention because my main is a male, and both times that I've tried creating a female secondary this has happened) character and as soon as I step out the cryo pod that's it, my controls are completely dead. Anybody had this happen, and know how to fix it?

Hmm, I've tried it three times now, with no luck. Nothing to do with gender, either.

Same thing happened to me with my second character. I turned my xbox off and on and it worked fine after that.

are you on PS4, XB1 or PC?

Close the game then restart. It happened to me on PC.
