Hi at all, it′s been a long time ago that I use TES 3 and TES 4 is a little bit strange to me. And I forgot a lot.

This is what i try to make:

1.) Rebuilt the map of all the continent; or saying it en other words : put the maps of Arena,Daggerfall,Redguard Morrowind and Oblivion together (expansion of each of them included).
2.) Rebuilt the "old" advenger of Arena, Daggerfall and Redguard with the "new" Oblivion TES 4
3.) Each game of this serie was a chapter in the new one; whith the choice that your character can start en each off them.
4.) Fix the storyline to let it become one with sense.
5.) Write a new masterfile so that′s unnessesary use all off the "old" one.

How can i start?
Whitch tools are nesessaty?
Where can I get got hi-res texure, nif′s and meches?
How can i make it myself?

These are my dubts. Can somebody help me, please?

Greetings from an Elder Scrolls Fan

PD: Sorry for my english. It isn′t my natural language.

essentially everything you said has already been done or is being done. #1 is part of the Tamriel Rebuilt using Under the Sign of the Dragon mod. And this is a bit ambitious as a starter who is unfamiliar with the extremely tedious modding process. I cannot stress this enough; Get familiar with your tools before starting a project. When we are learning to read our teacher doesn't hand us a copy of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and teach us from that, we start small. The same case HAS to apply here other wise the results will not only be dissatisfying for you, but you will have a bunch of angry users for dirty edits, conflicts with other mods, bad scripting, blah blah blah, blah.

Get the TESIV Construction Set from the TES website - it's free. If you want to new objects you will need Blender for the models and Gimp for the textures plus you will need a strong knowledge of how to use them. Oh, and Gimp will require the .dds exporter plug in.

thanks for aswer so fast Ntom.

I already have TES 4. Blender and Gimp too. And i know these two programms how there works. I′ve worked whith them for other uses.

Sure, that what i listed looks very big. But i don′t want knowing nothing today and finish the project tomorrow. These are only the points where i want reach; when i finished, going how you said step by step.

And you say that the Mod "Under the Sign of the Dragon" do this exactly? Where can i get it, from fileplanet perhaps?

Under the Sign of the Dragon (Tamriel Height Maps) Makes all the regions - Hammerfell, Skyrim, Elswyr, Blackmarsh, ect - playable. The entire region is available for moddding! No work needed to make the ground look right or the LOD or so forth, it is ready for modding, and there are several large groups working on different parts. I am almost certain there is not one country/province in Tamriel that has not been taken up. So if you want to work on one of them I suggest locating on the members who is working on the province you want to work on and see fi they will let you join the team.
Aside from that, with the construction set you can make your own worldspace with your own lore and so forth (something I am working on). While you can't use the base Under the Sign of the Dragon on this to help you just dig right into modding, you can atleast build the landshape from scratch which will help familiarize yourself with part of the CS...not to mention not having to worry about a lot of conflict, or flame because you are working on a project that already exists.

http://www.elderscrolls.com/downloads/updates_utilities.htm, but before you install be sure your oblivion is patched to the latest version!
and though you have blender and gimp knowledge, I highly recommend browsing Nexus's "Modders Resources" page. These are free to use models, scripts, textures, and so forth to help aid you in your mod. It has saved me tons of time and frustration by using these. I have extremely limited 3D modeling knowledge and none as far as texturing and yet with some resources I made a mod using quite a few new items.

EDIT:
and it occured to me you didn't even think abotu checking Nexus for Under The Sign of the Dragon, so I suppose it wouldn't hurt to either remind you or inform you about the very large TES mod website called TES Nexus (aka the Nexus)
www.tesnexus.com

sign up for free and get downloading!

And now where you are talking about that you make your own world: How do you get started? Whith or without and esm-file? Whitch tools your are using?

Working with a team was a great idear, but the challing was "create" some own :). And i have many time to spent (around 16 hours/day) .
