starting question

Well you know in the beginning of the game you pick your special and after the psychological exam of the note card pictures you can pick a few of those perks/penalty things, if so help me out

1) my character is only going to use regular weapons, the big guns (big machine guns and grenade shooters), and explosives as weapons.

2) well for some reason i always put skills into repair, speech, science, and medicine so i can always fix everything and can get answer out of everyone, so what happens if i dont dump a sh*t load of points in these?

3) also i alwasy end up doing the surgery to get more into my special and use the lvling perks to add to my special, is this normal?

statements one, two, and three what should i pick after the psychological exam if anything and what would be a good special start. and answer the question for me if you can.

just a side question also, a bad karma person are you atked by other people for no reason or are you just treated like shi* form the town folks. cause i wanna do a very bad karma run through, but every time i try i end up being good or neutral lol a good legionaire lol WTF :ermm:

karma has very little to do in the game. so it isn't much of a concern. reputation is much more important. and if you have a very bad rep with a certain faction, they will attack you on sight.

it helps to have a repair skill of 90 because repairing by merchants is way too expansive.

you can change your tags before the game gets realy started.

with the skill books and 50 levels, it is posible to have most skills maxed out. if you want to roll play, use the perks for that. the game wants you to spend skill points at each level. so you can't exactly fine turn. just because a skill is advanced doesn't mean you have to use it.

Repair, I consider a must-have, especially if yer gonna be using a lot of heavy weapons. I get it to 90 every time, so I can get Jury Rigging perk. Science, Medicine and Speech, you can ignore till later on when you've gotten your guns and explosives well up there, then you can dump some points into them if you choose. I've done playthroughs where I never got any of those three over 30 points. Sure, they're nice to jack up to make things easier along the way, but you absolutely don't have to. Yer a mean, rotten dude with big guns- if you can't talk yer way through, I'm sure you can figure out another method...
