Startup crash with FOOK2 installed ><

BrokenSteel.esm
Pointlookout.esm

CALIBR.esm
FOOK2 - main.esm
WeaponModKits - FOOK.ESP
FOOK2 - World and Neighbourhood Kit.esm
FOOK2 - DLC Improvement Kit
FOOK2 - Main.esp
FOOK2 - DLC Imrovement Kit.esp
FOOK2 - Mothership Zeta.esp
FOOK2 - Energy Visuals Enchanced.esp
MyFOOK2 - black and white tranquility lane.esp
MyFOOK2 - No [censored] victims.esp

Here is my file list for FOMM.
The game works without ANY FOOK2 mods on.
I'v tried turning combinations on and off based on any missing masters, etc.
However. This doesn't change, as long as a FOOK2 mod is running it crashes on startup.

Anyone know the fix for this at all?
I got the Fo3Edit thingy, and I went to make a merged patch, however. When I right clicked on the left hand side in the program, nothing popped up, and supposedly it's supposed to bring up a menu allowing me to make a merged patch, but no go.

any help?

Move FOOK2 - World and Neighbourhood Kit.esm to just after FOOK2 - main.esm cause all of the .esm files need to be loaded before any of the .esp file.

I noticed that FOOK2 - DLC Improvement Kit doesn't have an extension after it, so my question to you is, did you write out the list or did you use the Load Order menu at the top to copy the load order to clipboard feature? I just found it weird that it didn't list the extension after it.

Click on FOOK2 - Energy Visuals Enchanced.esp in your fallout mod manager, cause I am wondering if it is the one that will tell you if it requires a .esm that you don't have in your list :)

haha i wrote it out, didn't think I could copy it. But I managed to fix everything.. kind of.

I found out the crashes were due to the FOOK DLC mod options.
What is happening, is my Operating Anchorage isn't actually showing up in the order list...
I don't know why.. I had my previous install have it.. and I put it in with my DLC again but it just WONT show up no matter what I do.
Now I am running into an issue where my WMK will load up my screen but stop responding when the menu shows up with "continue, new game, load" etc etc.

My new loadout anything after and including the first WMK file are not loaded, as it's the only way I can play right now ><.

myfook2 - no [censored] victims.esp
myfook2 - black & white tranquility lane.esp
weaponmodkits.esp

And I have FOSE, so not having that isn't the cause of the broken WMK issue lol

Ok, In your fallout 3/Data folder, you have:
Anchorage - Main.bsa
Anchorage - Sounds.bsa
Anchorage.esm
Correct? If not, download it again, take them out of where live puts them into, and put them into where you installed fallout 3, in the data folder.

Did you download the compatibility patches for WMK under the Optional files for the DLC files you have?

Are you sure the fook2 - [eve] energy visuals enhanced.esp doesn't need the EVE main file?

I am sorry that I don't use FOOK2, so I can't be of better and more precise help for you, I can only help you to pick your brain lol.

You've either got an antiquated version or haven't installed properly.

http://www.FOOKnv.com/downloads/

Fallout3.ESM
Anchorage.ESM
<--- * You NEED that to load DIK. That is why you crash.
ThePitt.ESM
BrokenSteel.ESM
PointLookout.ESM
Zeta.ESM
CALIBR.ESM
FOOK2 - Main.ESM
FOOK2 - [W4NK] World and Neighbourhood Improvement Kit.ESM <- Merged
FOOK2 - [DIK] DLC Improvement Kit.ESM
<--- *
FOOK2 - Main.esp
FOOK2 - [EVE] Energy Visuals Enhanced.esp <- Merged
FOOK2 - [DIK] DLC Improvement Kit.esp <--- *
FOOK2 - Mothership zeta.esp <- Merged
MyFOOK2 - No [censored] Victims.esp <- Merged as option
MyFOOK2 - Black & White Tranquility lane.esp <- Merged as option

You'll also need to update your WMK and you'll want the most recent http://www.fooknv.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4307

Well you linked me to v1.1 beta so I guess i'll grab that and hope for the best.

I have the DIK options disabled, but I still cannot figure out why the manual "mod-style" DLC install isn't working.
All my other DLC's worked this way, and even this worked before I did my reinstall.

EDIT: is there an alternative DL site? this one doesn't work when I click a link.

Now that you mention it, my .esm file isn't even on my computer anymore... wtf....
But I do have both bsa files.

And for WMK, I will look for any updates, I never actually checked lol.

And the fook2 energy visual file requires only 2 files, both being enabled.

I'll try to get my .esm file again, if this all works. I owe my 10 hours of fiddling on this crap being complete to you :D

The latest version with the hotfixes and the DIK plugins unloaded should go very smoothly. Not sure about what you mean about your DLC not working, but after reinstalling it's easy to forget to dot an 'i' or cross a 't'. So long as your DLC is in Data and not GFWL's "hiding place", all should work just like any other mod...

@ JustinOther - Is FOOK2 site having issues with the download page? The download page comes up fine, but when you click on the downloads, I get a Server Not Found error. I tried 3 different links (not the external links though).

@ NinjaFish, Very glad to help, so I will split the thanks with JustinOther :D

Haha ya, Thanks to Miss Sparkle, i'm realizing that my .esm file I currently had... has become non-existant on my computer. Which baffles me xD.

Aha! The site changed from 'yourfook' to 'fooknv' and all the links were broken. I'll see if we can get that fixed tonight. Thanks for the heads up :)

Ahh that's good to hear! I'll keep an ear to it and get those as soon as they are fixed.
Btw, can I run my original save file with FOOK2 on it, then download the newer versions without making a new game?

Optimally, you'd start a fresh game, but most everything should still line up after the update. I'd load your save without FOOK, wait three game days, save, load the new FOOK, and use the menu's QA conainers to give youreself anything lost just in case, that way you don't lose progress.

Just downloaded and installed the WMK and hoping this makes EVERYTHING work 100% now.

You are welcome, glad that I could be of some help :)

Oh NinjaFish, remake your merged.esp and always load that last ;) Every time you make a new change, make a new merged patch (delete the old).
