No starvation in hardcoe mode. Confirmed?

People are saying that you do not starve to death therefore you don't need to eat?

I'm pretty sure there has been talk about risking death with the "needs" in HC-mode.

This. OP (Slayer12), did you honestly think that the developers would put in all these little meters that track how hungry your character is in hardcoe more - only for it to yield absolutely no consequences if you ignore them?

I'm sure if you are completely starved or dehydrated, you will either start losing HP over time, or you'll just die. Of course, there will be plenty of warnings that your hunger/thirst meters are getting low, and hunger will probably take longer than thirst to become life-threatening.

Maybe when you are starving or dehydrated you suffer major stat penalties until you eat and drink?

And then after so long your health starts to degrade slowly. That sounds pretty hardcoe!

Yah, they just added in the Food Meter for absolutely no reason.

"Have to" in the quote below tells me that you must eat, sleep and drink water.

What can you tell us about the new hardcoe Mode?

hardcoe Mode can be turned on or off at any time, although if you want the hardcoe trophy, you have to turn it on when initially prompted and leave it that way all the way to the end of the game. When it’s on, players will have to eat, sleep, and drink water every day. In addition, ammo has weight, companions can die, Stimpaks heal over time, and damaged limbs can only be healed with a Doctor’s Bag.

While you can fast travel in hardcoe Mode, you can’t if the time it would take to get you there would result in the player dying from dehydration/exhaustion/starvation.

i hope that when each of these bars drop to zero these effects happen

sleep- causes you to lose at least lose 1 points to each skill (except for luck, and endurance) endurance would lose 2 points, also a drop in accuracy

hunger- once this bar is down you lose 1 more point to endurance and lose health over time untill you eat again

water- insta-death

i would like for something like that

I am just glad they added in a Hair meter, so that when your hair looks bad it lowers your charisma. Then you have to buy a new comb and use it to fix your charisma. Combs only have 1 use, because, I mean, if a fully repaired gun can only fire 100 shots before it breaks... combs are 1 use.

And of course you must keep pressing the Breathe button, and tap B to blink now and then...
