Some fans love all the movies while others hold only the Original Trilogy as the best and to which all other movies will be judged by. It's likely ESB early training Luke who feels the force but has no control of it vs Fett and in that scenario Luke gets messed up which causes the fall to the dark side and then annihilates Fett.

Ok let's say Post Obi-Wan falling to Vader but Pre-Battle of Yavin Luke. Does force sensitivity count for nothing vs. a Stormtrooper with a jetpack? Lol

Seeing as how boba fett gets killed by Han solo by accident when he's fumbling around blind, I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard for Luke with a blaster to take him down.

I think TFA could have been better if the battle of Jakku took place during the movie. Like the First order had just recently popped up from the outer rim and was kicking the New Republics ass.


New Republic forces had collected at Jakku to recollect when TFO arived and begins to wipe them with fresh troops. Finn is a new soldier heading into his first battle as a ground troop. When he is ordered to take out ill equipped and even unnamed civilians of the planet fleeing to safety he realizes where his heart stands in the matter.


He comes across a young girl (16-20yo) and decides he's going to disobey and save at least her. The girl, Rey, is an orphan with no family but knows the area well. They make it to a trader where they steal a ship he won and leave Jakku just in time to see TFO forces retreat and a massive beam strike the planet, obliterating it. Finn explains the ground troops main goal was not to kill NR forces bu to disable their means of escape so a new weapon could be tested.


That's how I would have done it anyways.

Boba Fett would fly towards Luke but instead completely fly past him, hit a rock, and then tumble across Tatooine until he landed into a sarlacc pit.

Honestly, anything involving the New Republic rather than killing them off entirely in an instant would have done the movie more justice. Had the New Republic played a more important role, I think it would have made the movie look less like the rehash it is.

But yeah, quite excited for Rogue One myself.

A few small things are out of line to me with what's going on with Star Wars.

First there is the name "A Star Wars Story Rogue One" why the heck can't they just keep it Star Wars Rogue One, I mean this isn't a PG or G rated movie so why the kiddie friendly name.

Next there isn't going to be a opening crawl in Rogue One which is just plain wrong to have a Star Wars without an opening crawl.

Then there is the using of a Rebels character in Rogue One which is totally backwards since the expanded universe never should create content that ends up in the main movies because it's going to alienate the fringe & movie only crowds.

Finally the biggest issue is the reintegration of Grand Admiral Thrawn because it sets a bad precedent that they are going to cherry pick the old expanded universe which then nullifies then the point of dumping the expanded universe as a attempt to start fresh the universe.

Well, wouldn't Rogue One technically be considered as EU? It's not part of the chaptered franchise? It just tells a missing piece of the story like Rebels does.


What character from Rebels is in Rogue One? This is news to me.
