Stats ... And reaction to NPC's

Post » Sat Aug 21, 2010 12:32 pm

I would rather have npc react on level and equipment, also enemies, if you run into level 10 bandits at level 50 they should act very polite, people in towns would not act this way unless you threaten them and have notoriety as they know the guards will protect them.
A warrior in daeric armor looks more dangerous than a mage in dirty clothes even if the mage is more dangerous however I don’t expect the game to factor in this.
Might also work the other way around, people will not respect a low level character expect to be bullied or people demands bribes to help you or even access services.

Well does thats cannot work together?

This has NOTHING to do with what AI does.

Actually thats part of special greetings in conversations and can be part of AI as well as part Radiant Story.

I loved how if you were an ugly [censored] in Arcanum, some people would hate the mere sight of you and you'd have to grovel at their feet to win their favour. It was hilariously demeaning and provided an experience that today's "games" just don't offer.

You like to dance close to the fire, don't you?

They should just expand on it, in a more believable way. More based on clothing than anything else..
