Let them sort out the lag issues first.
Better that everyone has an equal footing before they start recording stats otherwise there will be so much QQ about it.

I agree with this.
Plus, I can imagine that all of SD/Beth are running around their offices pulling their hair out on a daily basis since this game came out.
The last thing on their mind is gonna be the stats page.

I hope they are *recording* the stats already, just not *displaying* them yet...

Why didnt they just finish the game and the website before they released it? I already was pissed because of the lag, now i find out they dont even have the online stats 'site' finished, what have they been doing? Maybe it would have been a smart idea to do a beta test first and get some issues fixed.

As you can see from most replies to the op people have very low expectations and are willing to put up with anything. I completely agree with u.

I havn't played the game since Sunday hoping the next time I logged on most of the obvious issues would be taken care of. So far its been a disastrous debut. Major lag issues, lacking and repetitive game play, no stats, no leader boards, over all graphics were toned down from its original look, missing unlockable items, advertised abilities missing in game such as "sneaking", customer support is close to non exsistent, game stores have just about as many used copies as new ones, early price drops, and most importantly....a dwindling gaming community. It's very unforunate because I like the potential in this game but can't help to feel they rushed it out. If that patch is just a code key to unlock things thats already on the disk I'll be highly upset. No one should ever support fraudulence.

With that said, I'm giving them to mid June just to see how powerful their patch will be. IMO, it will make them or break them. Never before have I witnessed such a game get as much praise and opportunities ( by the community) to right their wrongs. If they know like I know...they better stop cutting corners, most gamers will not settle for incomplete games...not at these prices when there are so many games to choose from. They took a smart gamble as far as the gameplay goes...but its clear the QA team never really tested the game.

I'm with a lot of other people. The stats can wait. I'd rather they fix the other crap that's wrong with this game...focus on some DLC that will make the game more fun before they focus on building a stats page. I don't care how many times I've killed someone with a mine or how many command posts I've captured. Doesn't do anything for me. I just want to play and have fun...Who cares about stats?

If SD were smart, they wouldn't have mentioned the stat site until it was ready to go and then launched it in a patch update. On top of the other issues they have to solve, they now have to hear people whine and complain about their precious stats.

Read Dead Redemption launched and their Social Club promised a stats page. It was months before they had it up and running. By the time the stats page was up, I was already done with that game. Talk about a game with bugs, yet it won game of the year in some publications. That game had so many bugs it was almost hilarious. But no lag...people will put up with a few bugs here and there before they'll put up with lag. Huge fail on SD for not sorting out the lag issue prior to release.

I feel like SD moved their release date up one week, so they wouldn't be affected by the sales of LA Noire. They should have delayed the release rather than pushing it forward so that they could sort out all of these issues. Just seemed like they rushed the release. Maybe Bethesda pushed Splash Damage to finish it ahead of schedule. Feels that way to me.
