Is there a god in the ES pantheon that this bird (eagle, I'm assuming) represents? Or have Nords taken to worshiping birds?

Maybe it represents Kyne?
Or it's not a religious thing at all.

Doesn't Shor have ravens, or am I just imprinting him with Odin?

This is what I'm thinking. Kyne was the first thing that came to mind.

edit: Fiore, that'd be awesome.

I think you're just imprinting.

Could also be a Falmer symbol (birds are big with the Ayleids), though it does look rather Nordic.

I'm gonna guess it's a Kyne related thing.

Maybe just as the Nords are the rougher, drunker cousins of Cyrodiil; so the Falmer are the rougher, drunker kin of old Ayleidoon.

Considering they're using it as a forge, I hope it isn't a shrine to somebody. I'd find it more likely to be a landmark for the hold system, perhaps one of their symbols involves a bird. Like Snowhawk.

Nocturnal is usually portrayed with ravens, perhaps it is related to her?

What appears to be Windhelm also has some eagle heads on the walls.

It might just be a symbol of a Hold/Town rather then a deity,

I first thought Tava. Then Kyne.
And now a really cool statue, i've no idea

Maybe just as the Nords are the rougher, drunker cousins of Cyrodiil; so the Falmer are the rougher, drunker kin of old Ayleidoon.

And now I can't see future installments lacking the "supposedly dead" (elven) race. dwemer, ayleids, falmer. whoaa

The first thing that came to my mind was Kyne.

I agree, but I need to tell you that I find your avatar very distracting. I keep reading your post as YOU CAN'T CUT BACK ON BIRD STATUES! YOU WILL REGRET THIS!

But why would Kynareth have a forge? You're pushing Zenithar on that one. It doesn't look like it's related to religion. I'm still hoping it's Snowhawk.

Maybe the Falmer picture of their Auri-El? :) And may be the remade picture of Shor.
