Well, it looks like the statue in the Bruma Castle courtyard has the same Imperial Dragon armor that you get in the game. From my understanding, the armor is only worn by the emperor... right? Someone mentioned that in the game...

I'm thinking that this statue must be one of the emperors. He looks like a Nord, too. I could be wrong, though.

Maybe the real story involves a woman who bore immaculate children who was dubbed a witch and executed with her spawn except for one of the children who managed to somehow escape the purge and went on to greater things as the ignorant masses eventually tried to fabricate a tale to erase the blood soaked into their own history.

Or maybe the history slipped into the void as that one remaining child returned, drawing a blade over the throats of each and every person in the town as they slept.
