Has anyone played Hitman Blood Money? Perhaps they should have guard remove dead bodies from the streets and place them in some sort of morgue. 4 days in the morgue and they are buried etc. Would make for interesting quests. Animation maybe hard to do and I can't see them bothering.
Definitely agree with the body stashing. I hate when in Oblivion if you sneaked attacked someone and one of their buddies comes walking buy and sees the body and just stares at it. :banghead:
You just don't get it. When the guard sees the body he goes in shock and is unable to move. Then, when he is walking away, he's just trying to walk it off.
I think I recall reading about an 'alert mode' NPC's will go into when you are sneaking around and they hear you, and so would start looking for the source of the noise. All that needs to happen is that they go into this mode when seeing a body.

Yes. So If they have this feature they need to make it easier to move bodies.
This also might mean you can throw objects that make noise to lure enemies away from doorways etc.
Me and a friend made a character called the Corn Stalk Stalker, He had the brightest, glowing gold hair, and we would go around killing NPCs, hide the body, and leave corn by it.... :whistling:
It was fun, and I dont think we were ever caught by guards.
i like this idea ^_^ I really like this idea stealth playthoughs were always amusing to me and this may make it even better. oh what if you can plant a body so if an enemy walks by it can be attached to a trap and the body falls on their heads that would sure give me a laugh eather them freaking out or get alerted. but ya i hope they add something like this it could even help with the dark brotherhood quests. you sir deserve a http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r105/Enoil/DarkFishyStick.jpg for this post
I don't know about any of you, but if a giant Nord warrior killed one of my buddies, I'd be sad, but I sure wouldn't jump up and challenge him. And I'm thinking a lot of ordinary people would think that way, too. Unless you're in New York, where people do, in fact, step over bodies in the street. Or when I'm rooting through a pile of freshly killed corpses, if a guard comes up and asks "What happened here?" I'll just say "Plague! All sudden-like!" And they usually leave me alone.
Dude is that true. It's hard to take it seriously...
I think it would be great but im quite sure they wont implement it
So you think they just won't care about the dead bodies? I find it hard to believe with all the improvements made to Skyrim, including the Radiant Story and AI. It would just be strange if they forgot to do something about it.
NPC reaction to bodies is definitely needed to make NPC AIs at all convincing - and if they're going to react to bodies, obviously you should have the ability hide them to prevent alert.
Would be nice if kills in cities caused some form of notice/warning posters as well.
They should also be able to react according to the circumstances. Im imagining a funny glitch.
Make it like Hitman games for stashing bodies. "whats this a body?" "No, (Shifty eyes) thats absurd..." "Well your dragging it so I'm gonna tell everyone in a shoutable vincinity you are at least an accomplice/accesorry to murder." "Damn you lack of dumpsters! DAMN YOU!" I guess a lake would work too...

the NPCs will probably react but you still wont be able to move the bodies, thats what im expecting
I think that the guards/people will come to investigate any noise that they hear the character make, will gather around the body if left out to either distract or connect the character to murder (if a house was bought in a few days the guards would come to ask questions. If wrong answers were given you would be taken to jain)
