Stealth overhauls and/or overhaul combinations...

Post » Thu May 19, 2011 4:29 am

I'm returning to TESIV after a loooong New Vegas interlude, over the course of which I've gotten quite used to Fallout's [HIDDEN]/[CAUTION]/[DANGER] system--one that well suits my sneaky sniping playstyle in that game.

Now, my preferred Elder Scrolls build tends to be roughly along the same lines... sneaky, quick-moving, and about as durable as spun glass. Which is why it was so disheartening for me to become abruptly reacquainted with Oblivion's cast of telepaths and bloodhounds. Prolonged stealth simply doesn't appear to be an option with vanilla detection AI, so I'm currently interested in soliciting the advice of the community: to wit, is there any mod or combination thereof that would allow me to more or less emulate the system as established in New Vegas? (i.e. degrees of detection, the ability to "re-stealth" after an initial hit/kill, and so forth.) Other stealth tweaks such as backstabbing, general armor/carrying weight becoming a factor, etc. would also be nifty, but my primary concern is with overhauling the detection to allow for long-term stealthiness.

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Also, forgive me if this isn't in the right section. I don't post much, so I'm unclear if this forum is just for published mods or not.

I have not played Fall Out so i do not know how it is there...but for sneaking you might want to take a look at this mod. (Download links are in the first post. )

you could combine it with these:
