Yeah, it was mentioned that the more "tricked" out your gun is, the onger it takes to equip, so a bare weapon should essentialy have the fastest equip time.

Almost, I think a bare weapon with the sling, if its available, would be the fastest. There may also be other stuff to decrease the equip time. Being able to whip out a stock secondary as fast as possible seems quite practical though.

But as every weapon-modification seems to have drawbacks upon it's benefits, it is likely.

(Usually a silencer doesn't reduce the damage per se, btw, but the effective range.)

I know that, I was referring to the specifics.

Perhaps a light body/barrel variant, which reduces accuracy, but decreases the equip-time.

Light frame doesn't really fit into one of the 4 slots that we know of, but a short barrel would work.

They have confirmed it?

I believe when they talked about brink they said offline story mode is multiplayer.
