Last night I bought Fallout 4 on steam. Let it download all night, and planned to start playing it this morning. Unfortunately, it will not load past the initial menu screen (Says: Play, Options, Support, Exit).

I tried asking for help on Steam, but to no avail. I don't understand a lot of computer talk, so if someone who is replying to this can dumb it down a bit for me, it would be extremely helpful. I have windows 8.1 64-bit, and I'm not really sure about my driver?

Any help will do. I bought this game as a chirstmas present to myself, and I'm really upset that it isn't working.

Use spoiler tags. The button to the left of the Font dropdown. Select spoiler from the dropdown and paste the entire report (it is long) in the textbox.

Open the dxdiag in notepad.

Did not help. However, I have run into another problem which would be when I try to load Fallout 4, and click play on the initial menu screen, the menu screen will keep popping up after I hit play.

Post the dxdiag report so that we may troubleshoot the issue.
