Ive got an issue with my downloads, halfway through STALKER's download my connection was interrupted and now it wont go past 49%. Ive tried to pause the downloads but it seems as if they are still going but nothing is actually being downloaded. Any quick fixes or should i just delete local content and start fresh

Stop Steam, go to your Steam directory and rename the clientregistry.blob to clientregistry.blob.old. Restart Steam. If that does not help, set the download region (Steam->Settings->Downloads + Cloud) to somewhere else, Sibiria or Norway or anything.
