Steam, etc. deals/sales

Ha, put yourself down for all the $2 train games and see if you win :P

Hehe. I think I'll take my chance with full-price expensive games.

Anyway, I don't think price affects the outcome. :P

Maybe you have a bigger chance of winning with Valve games. :P

Only good game I see on today's deal on Steam is Audiosurf for $2.50 USD. Really fun game and a great time killer. Defecse Grid seems interesting but for the game and DLC I don't want to pay $5 or so.

Batman Arkham Asylum is on sale for $10.20 today. Good game, although it didn't handle my gamepad too well. Audiosurf for $2.50 is a good deal too, I suppose.

Really underwhelmed by what they've put on sale so far.

How is Batman with a keyboard and mouse? And Audiosurf for $2.50 is a good deal since, at least in my opinion, if you only play a few songs its still worth it. $2.50 is cheaper then a cup of coffee or a small sandwich. Though it is an addicting game, last time it was this cheap and I picked it up I didn't realized I played it from 3 in the afternoon to 11pm without stopping, and it runs on almost any computer from what I have seen sine my laptop handles it on high settings well.

Was buying Alpha Protocol, added it to the cart and went on looking at some other games for my wishlist...

When I went to the register, the price was back to normal ._.

*sad*

It's still $7.50 on GamersGate.

I'm surprised I'm getting good download speeds for Alpha Protocol. Usually when these deals are happening things get very very slow...

But the site seems to have slowed down somewhat.

I was planning to get Alpha Protocol. But I hope to see better deals later on so I saved my money. I hope I don't regret my choice.

For me the whole Steam website went down for about 30-60 minutes yesterday night (I lost track of time). I haven't noticed any issues since then though.

It was better than I thought an action game would be with keyboard and mouse, but it was still clunky at times.

Kane & Lynch 2 for $5 is making me lulz heartily. Certainly not about to buy it, though. :P They'd have to pay me.

Other than that...DeathSpank is tempting, but I think I'll wait on a slightly better deal. Then there's the http://store.steampowered.com/sub/6790/--Recettear alone is worth the $5, IMHO. I already own Gish (through Direct2Drive) and Puzzle Agent, and Jolly Roger has always looked to me like Monkey Island recycled IN SPAAAAAACE with dogs, but eh. It's $0.99 per game. You can't go too terribly wrong with that price.

One of few games of its kind that was better with mouse and keyboard IMO. Not once did I ever consider using my Xbox 360 controller. It certainly set the bar for good PC controls in an action-adventure game.

I recently picked up the energy pack for 5 bucks. Basically a dollar a game. There's a couple I don't care for but I'm now hooked on Galcon Fusion. Great for when you want to play an RTS but only have five minutes to spare.
