Mechanarium looks semi interesting if only for the art style. The rest is bland and not interesting in the least to me.

How is Torchlight for a $5 RPG?

Is Torchlight worth $5?

Edit: Ended up buying it. If it svcks it costs as much as a normal lunch for me.

And I am thinking since the deals are so bad right now, Christmas sales might be even worse.

My friend gifted me Kane and Lynch 2... :glare:

With friends like that, who needs enemies? :lmao:

As for this sale vs. Christmas: remember, the Christmas sale extends beyond daily discounts on a small handful of games. So even if there's no good daily deals this year, chances are there'll still be discounts on some other games you might want.

Are better actually. Since these are the Thanksgiving sales, they'll not be as good as their christmas week deals.
I remember S.T.A.L.K.E.R being sold at 1$ last year during that week. :D

The games I'm looking forward for a nice deal this year are:

Empire Total War
Napoleon Total War
Bioshock 2
S.T.A.L.K.E.R Clear Sky
Warhammer 40K 2 (Or a Warhammer 40K collecting including Dawn of War and Rise of War)

I'm seriously thinking of getting the id Super Pack.

I would like to have all the dooms but what I really want is Heretic/Hexen as I've never played those but heard they were pretty good. I was just going to buy them standalone but then I saw the super pack.

Must. Have. It.

I'd wait until the end of the year at least, it might get a discount in the holiday sale.

i might just do that as I already have Doom 3/RoE. I also have the Doom Collection that came in a special Doom 3 pack so I'd be buying those again if I get the pack.

So I'll wait and see.

Short but very, very sweet. I challenge you to go through it without looking at the hints (which really spoil far too much, but the puzzles are quite difficult.) For this price I would say well worth it, but still so very short - don't expect a long adventure game or anything.

Wow didn't know it existed. I'll keep an eye out for it during Christmas.
Hexen is one of my favourites from ID. I found the N64 to be better than the PC version. It was a blast playing through the campaign with 3 friends. 2 Warriors, 1 Cleric, 1 Wizard. :D

How difficult are the puzzles compared to Braid or Trine? I liked playing Trine. However, the puzzles on Braid were annoyingly difficult to the point where I just gave up.

These would probably be enough to make you give up too, then... if not for the included hintbook in the game (you play a small minigame to open it, and then it shows you what you might try to solve the puzzle.) I found myself resorting to it a few times - but if you're a fan of such puzzles, this is definitely a good game to play, as some of them are quite clever.

I may end up getting it then, the hintbook could be my saving grace to prevent me from quitting.

It's definitely a nice addition, although it does spoil some of the riddles a little too bluntly, as I said... But the game's art style is worth the experience alone, imo.

Call it 'Danny the Boulevard Racing Game'.

(Points for reference-catching, as usual)

Just put Warhammer DoW II Gold in my cart, going to wait (and sleep) a bit, any opinions about the game? Worth € 10,- for someone who will probably only play the single player portion?

EDIT: I have part one and the expansions, although I haven't been able to beat any of the expansions due to the difficulty. Also played the DoW II demo (skirmish) and couldn't manage to win, although that was a while back and I'm probably a bit better now.
