Meant to mention this in the last thread, but could we change the title to Video Game Deals Thread or something similar in the future? Just a general sale thread would be good, I think. That's what we use it as anyways.

http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/icewind_dale_complete on GoG

Is it worth it?

I know that it takes more Diabloish approach on combat. But is there much story and good characters in it?

Weekend deals are Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (33%) and its DLCs(50%) and everything Killing Floor(50%).

Modern Warfare 2 for 33% off is still over $40. AND the online is crippled. What a rip off.

Indeed, this buttslapping bundle should be worth it to any friend of action role-playing and sidescroller action. ^_^

It's your usual space sim combat. The grand aspect of the X series isn't combat, though, but rather its open world gameplay. Buying up whole sectors and filling them with industry, producing your own fleet and fighting among them when someone tries to attack your ever-growing empire... Just awesome.

Any deals going on for around $17? Found some spare change. I've been looking into FF XI and Counter Strike (Original not Source) but didn't want to jump the gun in case there were some super crazy deals going on.

EDIT:
Is Killing Floor any good?

Killing Floor is awesome. I think I might get the new DLC since its just a dollar. I do only play stock maps, so there isn't many but it is fun regardless, especially with friends. I used to host games all the time when I was home but now I am at school with only my laptop that cannot run the game.

If it's activated over Steam, yes. It is. So... Yes you can install it and use it on a mac.

Is Killing Floor any good?

Yes, if you like shooters and/or team work. It's more fun to play with friends, but pubs are fun too. :D I've only spent ~120hours in it.

There's 17 stock maps. ;)

Killing Floor is awesome.

Yes. Yes it is.

Bejeweled 2 is free until 10 pm PST tonight, so you only have about an hour and a half left to download it:

http://www.popcap.com/games/bejeweled2/?icid=bej2free_HP_PLARGE_pc_10_10_10_EN

I think you have to sign up for their newsletter first though. That's what I had to do to download some free Peggle Nights a while back anyway. But I'm not 100% certain.
