Ah, I love Myst! One of my favorite series. I may have to check that out; especially if it's that cheap.

How come the sale on Mechanarium i snot on Steam? If you go to the developers website its only $5, but I don't really trust buying from there and would prefer it on Steam.

Has anyone played this? It looks really interesting, and I would like to play some sort of space game but I'm not sure how good it is... I'm generally not into RTS games, hate the resource gathering and sometimes I get overwhelmed with all that's going on, this seems to avoid those things.

You don't trust buying straight from the developers of the game?

Am I misunderstanding something?

Nation Red is 50% off, anyone have any comments about the game? It looks like some good mindless action to me, and the developer keeps supporting it with free content.

There is a demo available from Steam; I don't know how indicative of the full gameplay it is, but I didn't really enjoy it.

Me either. A friend of mine who tried it out compared to L4D's survival mode, which...is fairly accurate, IMHO. Except the zombies have guns, and gameplay is significantly dumbed down. I was bored of it by the second mission.

66% off The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition - Now only £5.09

Good deal if you haven't bought it yet, or if you just want the Steam edition of it.

Almost as if they know something we don't. :ninja:

Didn't Bethesda say a while back, that if they were going to announce a new game, it would be at QuakeCon?

Unfortunately i already own all the Doom and Quake games and Oblivion. Hopefully Morrowind is on sale on the following days, 20€ is quite steep price for an 8 year old game.

But so totally worth it, assuming the steam version is mod friendly.

I picked up Oblivion. Already have it for the 360 but really can't pass up such a deal. €8.49 is a steal

The pack should be around until the end of Quakcon, shouldn't it? And the main highlights are:

Call of Cthulhu?: Dark Corners of the Earth (US$10)
Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition ($50)
Morrowind ($20, though few here wouldn't have it)
Oblivion GOTY Deluxe ($24.99 [normal], many here have it, but I don't. Comes with expansions and DLC)
There's also Doom 3 and Resurrection ($20 each), but I've heard D3 is a bit lacking - overly reliant on things jumping out on you, amongst other flaws.

Right? They total ~$85 (Without Doom3) to $125 (with D3 and D3R). Any additions to this list?

It is mod friendly. All mods work perfectly with steam oblivion.

It even supports OBSE. Not initially, but someone contacted Valve/Bethesda and they made it compatible. Just awesome.

Riven: The Sequel to Myst is on Steam for $5. Unfortunately is says it isn't compatible with Windows XP which is odd...but if you can get it to work, BUY IT. It's one of the greatest games that I've ever played.
