I am trying to install FNVU edition. All attempts have yielded this error message, "steam.exe (main exception) to run steam you must connect to the internet". I am connected, install via disc or from Steam site gives me the same message. I have contacted Steam but their suggestions didn't seem to work. Other games ie; Fallout 3 and Oblivion ran without any major issues. The one difference being one has to be connected through the Steam site to play. Knowing this I'm hesitant to purchase Skyrim (which I'm looking forward to playing) if this is going to be an issue.
If anyone has had similar problems or knows how to resolve it would be much appreciated.
