Or post a link to your community page, if you don't want to share your log in handle (I for example don't like to post that around the interwebz; even with that additional new security feature).

Hmm, yeah, Ive been trying to find out the correct way to do this. Everyone used to just post their usernames or handles, but if someone switches their name you can't find them anymore.
I guess people need to post when they change their handles. Or they could just post a link to their community profile. Or both.

What do you think the best way of going about it is? Because I'm going to organize the list for the thread.

Well, the best way is to indeed post a link to your own Steam profile -- however, some people have told me they can't do this from their browser.

So I think it would be best for users to link their Community profile if they can, or friend one of us on Steam and we can get them in that way.

Sounds like an idea. I'll start looking up profiles in a few. Got some things to take care of.

Update: Since Revoluzzer, Napalm, and Rammite are much more regular forum users and probably vastly more knowledgeable about the game than I, you three have been made officers.

Use it justly. :)

Yay!

Cipher's been invited.

And as was suggest by Napalm, I am giving notice than I will shortly be changing my display name on Steam to ?BOOM?SacredGray, at the behest of my best friend and his girlfriend. >>

My icon, however, will remain the same as this forum's icon, so you'll know my profile when you see it.

I am requesting permission to enter this establishment known as a "Steam Group".
My username is Noobtoob100, but people call me Frank, or FlutterShy. Mostly Frank though.

I third this. I have a feeling we could tear the majority of the other players apart.

Oh hell yes we'll be playing together on launch day. :D

I'm getting my copy from Amazon, so I won't be installing it until 10AM or so when I can pick it up from my university's campus post, so for those of you who would have already gained a couple of levels by then..... go easy on me. XD

Edit: What classes do you guys want to play? I'm cool with playing anything, but I'll be happy to be your Engi or Medic.... if you're Security. :intergalactic:

If we have enough people (and I'm sure we will) we can have 8 resistance people in the group versus 8 security people, good times for all!

We are gonna have to commandeer some servers though :P

This is true. If we put everybody in Fireteams, we'll be able to stay together from server to server. Hopefully we can have some voice-chat thing in place in order to communicate better.

"take coberrrr!!"
"what?! take what?"
"take cober"
"what is cober"
"hidee!!"

Or even worse than that

After all my years of playing RPG with foreigners, I think I can tell what anyone is saying unless they are literally speaking another language.

zomg I wanna join!

I'm planning on renting a server as soon as they're available for Brink too (in US west). Could be nifty if the group had one.
