Steam group for this forum's PC users

Shoot, just thought about this. I live in China, with GCSE exams at around the time of Brink.

Live in China = Lag :banghead:
GCSE exams = Too busy :sadvaultboy:

That, sir, is tragic...

Syphuur, Fluttershy and Veridiux have been added. :)

How do you add people any way?
I haven't found any way but adding them to my friendlist first and then inviting them to the group ...

Also I'll usually be in the chat while at home.

If you click the downward arrow next to their name in Steam, there should be an option to "Invite to Group." If you're viewing their profile via internet browser, you have to be logged into Steam in your browser as well to do this.

That's how I've done it, at least.

On release day we need to use chat to all coordinate and stomp everyone :D

Man, that would be fun. We should.

Yes. I'll join the fun if I get the game DLd fast enough.

zomg I wanna join!

I'm planning on renting a server as soon as they're available for Brink too (in US west). Could be nifty if the group had one.

I was thinking about this earlier. Hopefully we'll get more info on that soon. I might be able to rent one in US East for the group to use.

I'll chat but damn my accent will stuff up everything.

"take coberrrr!!"
"what?! take what?"
"take cober"
"what is cober"
"hidee!!"

Or even worse than that

I don't know. I've been playing FPS games for a while and I've heard some pretty thick accents. I'm sure we'll be able to understand just fine.

Yeah, I speak to people from all over Europe and some from South America, and I'm from America Ponyville, so I'm used to accents. You can always talk to me, bro, us ponies sure are friendly.

You can add me if you fancy: http://steamcommunity.com/id/daystar/

I'm happy to help out as an officer with the pen-pushing (read: mouse-clicking) if you feel like it. I'm pretty damn active too, so I may as well be useful.

[ In-game I reckon I'll be a medium security soldier (possibly medic). Will be looking to form a solid competitive team for tournaments/leagues and possibly co-found a league via experience from TF2. Also, I live in England so if we end up splitting into clans/teams by tournament Revoluzzer might like someone else there. Who knows. ]

I always like someone I can play with. Soloing mutliplayer games is quite disappointing, after all.

Alright, time to stop lurking and start discussing Brink.

I've finally decided that I'm going with PC over Xbox 360 (main advantage of console was that I had a full friends list of people who would be playing Brink already). So yeah, I'm gonna need new friends, lol.

Please invite me: http://steamcommunity.com/id/iMaelstrom

Can someone invite me to this group? I know a lot of Bad Company 2 players that will be playing this game. We have a Battlefield Community site going up soon and will have dedicated sections in the forums for Brink players. Steam = hawkeyez01

Gah! Sorry for not seeing these new developments -- my eyes didn't catch the thread again until today.

iMaelstrom, Hawkeyez, and the others who messaged me are invited.

Can you believe we have almost 7 fireteams ready? :D

The fun part will be getting pairs of two into teamspeak and get some lan-atmosphere going on while playing against each other!

That being said now, as some of you may or may not know, I'm planning to start doing gameplay-commentaries with BRINK.

Now doing the first (live commentary) with a bunch of forum people in the game, rather than internet strangers, could be a lot more qualtiy time! :D
