Hello there. I'm having a few problems, and it's driving me batty. I am running windows 8.1, and no, I can't switch to an earlier version. Can't afford it currently.

The first problem is that I seem to be missing update.bsa. Why, I don't know. I've uninstalled, tried to verify cache, all of that. I run Fallout NV, when I exit, the screen goes black and it freezes until I reset my comp. If I try using the launcher, it only shows install and help. The game is fully installed, even the dlc's. Yet it's not showing it to the launcher. Now, oddly, running the nsve and 4gig patch work fine to run it. But, still. I'd like it to have the missing update. I am wondering if perhaps it's why the game is crashing on exit on default.

The last, is of course, the default launcher being so screwy.

Any help with these issues, I'd love. I'm definately stumped. I've verified cache, re-verified, I'm at my wits end trying to figure out why it's half working, and half not.
