Steam In Offline Mode

Disable your internet. Unplug that cord, right click on those icons "Disable" etc.

I'm REALLY wishing I had done this. My game is all fubar now and I had it running great thanks to the customers help.

You are complaining about the patch? The patch fixed most of my problems, haven't found any news caused by it....

Answer to your question- Yes. Running in offline mode with prevent your game from getting autopatched. There is also an option to turn off auto patching.

If you're going online but you still don't want Steam to update, right click on the icon, select properties, and then you can switch automatic updating off under Updates.
