Obviously someone at Valve hit the big red button too early, it gets pushed to content servers and prepped before going to clients.

Maybe a last minute change made it in...

I rebooted Steam again and now I'm back to 1.1 with you guys.

I got the 1.2 patch, had only three servers showing, made a post here, went back into the game, got a new patch while I watched -- Then had all my servers back, and was back to 1.1 all in the span of about 15 minutes.

I guess they goofed. Nothing more complex than that. I, for one am shocked and surprised....

After the Steam patch/unpatch both SP and MP and extremely laggy with low FPS! what the hell; it was fine before.

You guys think you have it bad? I came home to find steam downloading a Crysis 2 "update" that was 2 GB !

No, I'm not joking.

There was no patching for me. restarted steam few times, no infor from steam either...fake posted by op.

Yes I have tried restarting and reinstalling but still this SP and MP lagging problem. I had previously played through with max settings fine, but now this. I won't go crazy just yet though; I'll at least give 1.2 a chance :-/
