Does someone from Bethesda dev's team, or whichever team responsible for this actually look at this forum/threads?

If they don't give a f about this, they can rest assured that their numbers in Brazil will be affected for it.

It's not just Brazil that gets screwed. Steam's listing for Fallout 4 is $80 USD instead of $60 USD, just because I'm in Australia.

damn! your prices are all out of whack compared to the united states normal price for new games (59.99 bucks). why are they all different prices that you listed? i mean every single price was different that you listed!

I must bump this thread because it was said that this isn't a error, it is the true price. Come on Bethesda, we're passing by a crisis on our economy plus all the facts that I mentioned on my previous posts.
It is so expensive that it become a joke there is a list of "http://jogazera.com.br/5-comidas-deliciosas-pra-voce-comprar-com-o-preco-de-fallout-4-no-brasil/" which are:

It is a shame that Bethesda don't see how expensive is this game, this price will only make people pirate the game, I'll not buy it on launch if the price remains the same.

OP has every right to be upset by this pricing, but this needs to be addressed to Valve and at the Steam forums. Pretty sure Bethesda gets $XX for each sold unit on Steam and it's 100% up to STEAM to set the pricing to consumers. How Steam itself handles the exchange rate for sales in different countries is CERTAINLY not something Bethesda has control over (I could be wrong, but doubt I am).

OP is pissing on the wrong tree trunk....

Note that it would be nice for a Beth rep to comment on this issue, but since it would likely require the comment indicating Valve (a Bethesda partner) is in some way at fault, any comment is unlikely.

Brasil, Brasil never changes.

Why isn't Dilma impeached yet? Anyway I'm Brazilian-American. If you guys absolutely have no other way to get this at a reasonable price hit me up and we'll work something out.

There is a http://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/27/618463738384316356/#p1 in STEAM forums about this, the official position is that this is the final price, but I think that Bethesda should press them to change it.

Wonder if it'd be possible to do the VPN trick, VPN to a US server purchase game. Wonder if Steam would allow a US purchase to function in BR after VPN connection is tetminated.

are you kidding me OP? The game costs about $113 australian dollars. Conmvert that to BRL and it is over $300 in your currency. I would LOVE IT, if that game cost be $250 as that would equal just under $100 Australian dollars.

Your dollar is worth almost a quarter of a US dollar and yet you are still getting games cheaper than most other countries. Yet you are all mad about this? I am annoyed that you are mad at this

Convert $80 USD( basically the fallout steam price) to BRL and it is over $300. not to mention that is before the steam tax. Does anyone here actually know how exchange rates work?

Everyone thinks us Australians are rich though. We pay through the rear end for everything.

Well I'm not a expert on Australia but I found http://www.tradingeconomics.com/australia/minimum-wages, it says that the minimum wage on Australia is 640 AUD, which means 2560 AUD in one month. Lets assume that is true:

2560 AUD = 1805 USD

A game of 113 AUD means 4,4% of your minimum wage.

The minimum wage on Brazil is 788 BRL

788 BRL = 207 USD

This means that your minimum wage is at least 8x higher than ours.

This also means that a game of 250 BRL means 31,7% of our minimum wage.

In other words for brazilians the 250 BRL price is way higher than 113 AUD is for australians, if the prices correspond the same percentage in your minimum wage this game would cost 811 AUD, would you pay 811 AUD for a game?

Yeah it is just the way it is. Another example of bad business practice is the PS4 store. On the UK store it is £65 for EA games. So about $100. That despite the fact it should be cheaper than the store retail copies. It's just greed. The prices of the games has remained the same since last gen. This was reflected in the US. It's just certain sellers are taking advantage.

"We should get it cheaper because we earn less"... Exchange rates dont work on the minimum wage of a country and most companies wont lower a price for that reason. And why should a company let people pay less simply because of what they earn? Companies have been doing it for years and years and you act like its something new. Only way it will change would be if no one bought games, and we know they wont happen.

You are still only paying 10% more than the US price whereas other countries for years have been paying the equivalent of 80BRL more for games for literally no reason.

Join the club, because they are a whole heap already in it and we have been complaining for years

By the way, no one on minimum wage here would be wasting money on games. The price of living in Australia isnt cheap

The minimum wage was a reference, but if other games follow this logic (see first post), why can't Fallout 4? Bethesda/Valve want to encourage piracy, that's the only explanation. And even if you aren't in the minimum wage there would you pay 811 AUD for a game?
